ASM is managed by highly qualified and experienced marine professionals including Master Mariners who used to hold topmost marine managerial positions in both shipping companies and major oil producing companies, in addition to specialists in marine insurance, maritime business and management. The relatively small size of the company enables us to focus on every project undertaken at an intricate personal level.

ROGER SAYEGH
Manager, MICS
Roger graduated from John Moores University, Liverpool with a B.Sc in Maritime Business & Management. He also holds a M.Sc in Maritime Affairs from WMU, Malmo and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers in London. Roger has experience in shipping and oil & gas services since 2007. Roger manages all survey works and commercial matters within the company.
Roger is certified to Lloyd’s Agency Standards & Values and Lloyd's Technical Cargo Surveying, Module 2 and Claims Handling and Recovery, Module 3.
CAPT. JAMIL SAYEGH
Managing Director and Co-Founder, MIIMS
Jamil has over 40 years of experience in the maritime fields since 1970, from being an accomplished ship Master to holding topmost managerial positions in the oil and gas companies in the Arabian Gulf. His expertise covers many fields of the maritime industries including ship management, oil and gas operations, surveys, marine insurance and maritime paralegal consultancy.
Jamil is certified to Lloyd’s Agency Standards & Values and Claims Handling and Recovery, Module 3.
OHANNES KALANDJIAN
Surveyor
Ohannes studied law for 4 years and has extensive experience since 2002 in cargo handling, import and export operations. He held managerial positions in well-known freight forwarding companies. He is highly knowledgeable in the local and international practices, FIDI and IAM regulations. At ASM, Ohannes conducts cargo surveys since 2016.

CHRISTINE SAYEGH
Business Development Manager
Christine holds a B.B.A in International Business Management from Notre Dame University and a M.A in Events Management from London Metropolitan University. In addition to her academic achievements, Christine has experience in various administrative, marketing, and communication positions since 2011. Christine conducts cargo surveys, loss adjusting, and handles administrative matters within ASM as well as business expansion and development since 2015.
Christine focuses on Fine Art & Specie surveys and loss adjusting and completed a Certificate of Art Management at ESA Business School in partnership with Gurr Johns in 2021.
CAPT. IHAB SHAABAN
Surveyor
Capt. Ihab holds a bachelor’s degree with honors in Maritime Transport, Nautical Science and has experience at sea since 2010 in deck officer positions including 2 years as Chief mate onboard general cargo ships, containers, cattle carriers and RoRo vessels. Ihab has also performed marine surveys of ship’s condition, P&I and H&M, weight determination by draft, outturn, accidents’ investigations, reefers and dry containers, heavy lifts and project cargoes, risk assessment, pre-purchase and yachts surveys.
Ihab is fully familiar with SOLAS, STCW, MLC, MARPOL, GMDSS, OPRC, LL, COLREGS, INMARSAT etc.
