ASM, established in Beirut in 2003, is a leading provider of marine, insurance, and logistics services, offering surveying, technical assistance, consultancy, claims handling, and recovery operations.
ASM is the Lloyd’s Agent in Beirut, an appointment held since 2015, the CESAM‑appointed Average Agent for Lebanon, a member of the TMN Survey Group, and acts as P&I Correspondent for several international Clubs and insurers.
Our team is composed of experienced professionals accredited by reputable international bodies, including the International Institute of Marine Surveying, the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers, and the Chartered Institute of Loss Adjusters, bringing extensive technical expertise and industry‑recognized qualifications to every assignment.
Lloyd’s Agencies

– With over 250 Lloyd’s Agents and a similar number of Sub-Agents, covering major ports and commercial centres around the world, the Lloyd’s Agency network forms the world’s most extensive marine surveying and adjusting network
– The Committee of Lloyd’s first established the Lloyd’s Agency network in 1811 to protect the interests of Lloyd’s underwriters. Since then, the mandate has broadened and the network now serves the global insurance industry and its customers
